Pure Athlete Ethos
What was the biggest motivation behind the idea of wanting to present the fitness industry with a new category?
My biggest motivation is fairness and clarity. I believe people who train without performance-enhancing supplements or drugs deserve their own category - because the potential and resources are very different. By creating the “Pure” category, I want to give this path the recognition it rarely gets and bring more honesty to the fitness industry.
Are all supplements considered off-limits for a Pure Athlete?
No. Only performance-enhancing supplements.
Which supplements are considered performance-enhancing, and which are not?
Performance-enhancing supplements: creatine, pre-workout, beta-alanine, citrulline malate (and any form of citrulline), nitric oxide boosters, any stimulant-based “pump” or “focus” formulas.
Non-performance-enhancing supplements: Whey or plant-based protein powder, multivitamins, electrolytes, omega 3, vitamin D, magnesium, calcium and other minerals.
Why only the performance-enhancing supplements are excluded from the Pure category, but others are allowed? What's the difference between them?
Because they artificially boost your performance or physique beyond what you can achieve through food and training alone.
For example:
- Creatine draws water into your muscles, making them look fuller.
- Citrulline increases vascularity and blood flow.
- Pre-workouts give you an unnatural energy surge from stimulants
These substances are taken solely to enhance performance and appearance - they are not essential for health and life.
In contrast, non-PE supplements like vitamins, minerals and electrolytes are simply nutrients your body needs for normal function. Their doses can come from daily food or supplements - doesn't matter. They support health and life, not artificially inflate performance and appearance.
If I take whey protein, am I still a Pure Athlete?
Yes. Whey protein isn’t a performance-enhancing supplement.
Can I still make gains without performance-enhancing supplements?
Absolutely! Just take a look at my own journey - it’s living proof. You don’t need enhancers to make real, lasting progress.
Do you have anything against people who achieve their physique with performance-enhancing supplements and drugs?
Not at all. Everyone makes their own choices about their body and fitness journey. What does frustrate me is when people aren’t honest or transparent about their use of performance enhancers.
Why do you say today’s physiques are inflated?
Because in reality, no one truly looks like they do. Many have stuff in their bodies that enhance their appearance beyond their true state. For example, a person on creatine has extra water in their muscles, which makes them look bigger and leaner at the same time.
I understand how water in the muscles makes someone bigger, but how does it make them look leaner?
When your muscles are fuller and bigger, they occupy more space on your body, which lowers your overall body fat percentage by volume. This makes your physique appear leaner, even if your actual fat levels haven’t changed.
What are the differences in progress and physique when training with PE supplements versus without?
With supplements, you’ll be able to progress and recover faster leading to more gains within shorter time, but also you will be seeing yourself a few levels beyond what you actually are. The reason for that is the water retention in the muscles.
Without supplements, your progress might be slower, but you’ll always be seeing your true, honest physique - exactly who you are, built purely through hard work and consistency.
Why do you say the fitness industry isn’t really healthy?
Because it promotes a false image. Just slapping a “protein” label on a product doesn’t make it healthy - not when it’s full of artificial, highly processed ingredients.
They made it all about the obvious stuff - if it has protein or doesn't have much sugar it's branded as healthy, yet they put tons of artificial stuff in there. They made people fear fruit because it has sugars, and that is so wrong! True health isn’t just a good-looking body - it’s about feeding yourself with real, nutrient-dense foods the way God intended through nature.

How many months should I choose for coaching?
The ideal coaching length depends on your individual goals, starting point, budget and whether you want to reach the goal with me or get to a certain point, learn and then continue alone.
- 1 month - it’s hard to expect drastic transformations, but some clients who are already close to their goal may just need a stronger push. Usually, two groups of people choose the 1-month plan: those aiming for an aggressive quick cut (though better results come in 3 months) and those wanting to “test the waters,” get a feel for the coaching style and then choose a longer plan.
- 3 months - is for people who want to make solid progress toward their goals or even achieve them if they are close to their goal. It’s ideal for those ready to develop strong habits and gain valuable knowledge that will make them capable and proficient to continue alone.
- 6 months - a common choice for people who want to work consistently with ongoing support and guidance, having someone to take care of their training and nutrition so they don’t have to worry or think about it. These are usually regular gym-goers, but also very busy individuals who need someone to handle those details. Others choose this plan believing they can reach their goals within six months, and depending on their starting point and commitment, many achieve their goals or make drastic progress. It’s also great for fully embedding healthy habits and accumulating lots of knowledge and practice.
So, ultimately it's very individual. It’s about what fits your life, budget and where you are on your journey. Some people start with a shorter plan and then extend it, while others jump right into a longer plan to get the best value and consistent guidance. Also, many clients choose to continue working 1-on-1 with me even after reaching their goals because they want to have a coach or need ongoing support, for others it reduces stress or keeps them accountable. On the other hand others focus on learning everything they need during coaching and then continue on their own.
How long will it take with your coaching to reach my goals?
The timeline is unique for everyone - it depends on your current fitness level, goals, and how far you are from them. Some goals can be reached relatively quickly, while others require more time and consistent effort.
My goal is to help you progress as efficiently as possible.
Can I use PE supplements if I work with you, or do you only coach people who want to be pure?
Yes, you can use supplements. In fact, many of my clients use - it's your personal choice. In fact, if you choose to add them on top of the plan I create for you, you’ll likely see even better results. They can help a lot. You just won’t be “Pure,” but you’ll still be considered natural.
Can I pause my coaching if something comes up?
Yes, of course. Life happens. We’ll pause and resume once you’re ready to continue.
What happens after the coaching ends?
By the end, you’ll have the knowledge, confidence and a plan to continue training on your own. I’ll make sure you know exactly how to move forward.
Can I continue training with you after the plan ends?
Yes! You can choose your current plan again or go for a new one based on what fits you best.
Will I have messaging support?
Yes. You’ll have direct access to me via WhatsApp or Telegram for ongoing support.
How often will we have 1-on-1 sessions?

Yes, I offer a full refund only if you decide to cancel after our first meeting.
How is your coaching different from other online fitness programs?

What if I can’t eat certain foods?
No problem - during our first session, we’ll go through all your dietary needs and restrictions so I can tailor everything to you.
What if I don’t have time to cook?
I’ll create a plan that fits your lifestyle, even with minimal cooking. I’ll organize and suggest options that save time while still being effective.
What if I crave junk food or miss certain treats?
I’ll include healthy recipes that satisfy those cravings - so you'll feel like eating cheat meals, but still staying on track.
Training & Fitness Plans
What if the training plan doesn't fit my schedule?
If it doesn't fit your schedule, then it's not a personal plan! The first thing every personal coach needs to do is understand client's situation - that's why I evaluate your lifestyle, goals, fitness level and schedule and then create the most optimal plan for your situation. It has to fit in! It's my job to make it fit in.
What if something changes in my life/schedule and now staying true to the plan seems challenging?
Then I will adjust the plan to fit in.
Is it the same plan from start to beginning?
No, we will make changes based on your progress and life situations.
What if I have a busy or irregular schedule? Can this still work for me?
Absolutely. That’s exactly why personal coaching matters. I’ll design a plan that fits your life - so fitness becomes part of your day, not a disruption.
Do I need a gym or can I train at home?
It’s up to you. Gyms offer more tools for faster results, but I’ll optimize your program for home if that’s what you want.
Can I get results with limited equipment?
Yes! I, myself, trained for years with very limited equipment. Though, I'll always suggest what will work best for you, but I’ll optimize within the constraints you give me.
What do you mean when you say “optimized plan” and "optimal plan"?
Yes, I use those phrases very much.
"Optimized" means to fit in your lifestyle, schedule and energy levels, not disrupt. "Optimal" means the best approach within the optimized plan in order to ensure best results.
For example, if you’re very busy and active, optimizing your plan might mean training only three times per week - but I’ll make sure those sessions are approached in a way to give you optimal results within that time.
Do you believe there’s an ideal number of days someone should train at the gym? If so, do you have all your clients train that many days each week?
No, it really depends on the individual, since everyone has a different lifestyle, free time and energy levels. However, if someone has the time and energy, I’d say five times per week is ideal. For example, when I was a student, I trained five times weekly, but with my current schedule, I train four times a week. The key is to find a routine that fits your life sustainably.
How do I know that I have good balance between my fitness plan and life?
Following a plan is essential, but it must fit your schedule without becoming a burden. True, lasting results come from maintaining a healthy balance between your fitness goals and daily life. When your plan respects your lifestyle, it’s easier to stay consistent and enjoy the process.
I’m very busy, but I want to train 5-6 times a week because I feel like I will be missing progress and delaying my goals. Is this okay?
Training 5-6 times a week can work if your lifestyle, energy levels, and recovery allow it. However, if you’re very busy and stressed, pushing yourself too hard may lead to burnout, injury, or stalled progress. It’s more important to have a balanced, optimized plan that fits your schedule and lets you recover properly. Sometimes training fewer times with better quality and consistency will actually bring you closer to your goals faster than overdoing it.
Kiril's Fitness Journey & Experience
Are you a lifetime Pure?
Yes, I've never taken PE supplements.
Don't you think it took you a long time to reach your current physique?
Maybe, but I chose the pure route. In today’s world of physique inflation, people often underestimate how hard it is to build real muscle. Most chase quick results with enhancers.
Can your physique be reached faster than you did it?
Depends from where you start, but if you are starting from similar point like me, then definitely yes! I started with no knowledge and didn’t train or eat smart for my first two years. If you do things right from the beginning, you can build a decent physique within 3 years as a Pure Athlete, and even better if you add supplements.
If you started training again with your current knowledge, do you think you’d reach your current physique faster?
Definitely! I’d especially make sure to fully take advantage of the newbie gains and train smarter from the start.
Is there a limit to how much muscle a Pure Athlete can gain?
Yes. The physiques you see from bodybuilders or many influencers are enhanced by PE supplements or PE drugs. There are exceptions based on individual's genetics, but generally speaking you can't expect to have a freak physique. Also, once you get to the very top of what your body is capable as pure, the progress after that is very slow. That's why lifters take enhancers, to break that limitation and open up room for more progress.
Aren't performance-enhancing supplements safe? Why did you decide not to use them?
Generally, yes - they are considered safe. But back when I started, information wasn’t as accessible as it is now, so I was skeptical. As time passed, I felt inspired to take a different path - to stand out and prove what’s possible without them. I also believe in keeping things close to nature. Many supplements are heavily processed and filled with artificial ingredients, which doesn’t align with how I believe God created us to nourish our bodies.
